Plymouth, MA Stafford Hill Assisted Living is a state-of-the-art residence created from the redevelopment of an existing building, the former Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home. Totaling 75,000 SF with three-stories of assisted living, it consists of sixty (60) traditional units and twenty-five (25) well-appointed Captain’s Quarters. The Captain’s Quarters feature upgrades of granite countertops, hardwood floors, and custom molding. The complete project consists of 138 units of senior housing that offer a new alternative to area citizens, making it the first new assisted living facility developed in Plymouth in over 8 years. The interior design of Stafford Hill Assisted Living captures the warm and welcoming feel of life in a New England town. The overall theme is nautical in nature and includes the influence of the rolling countryside just a few miles away. CURRIER selected casual inviting colors of bright blues, soft golds, greens and pops of red to express this concept. These colors are seen in the custom patterned carpet and the overall scheme in the 8+ common living areas and large bright dining area. One of the highlighted common areas being the theatre room with a 1950’s flair that uses large plush seating, retro furniture and artwork displaying the famous movies of that era. Also highlighted are the country kitchen with hardwood floors and oversized windows and the more distinguished pub room with a working fireplace, mahogany cocktail bar and felt gaming tables. Other features are the wellness center, beauty parlor, activity and multi-purpose rooms using energetic colors to create uplifting spaces for the residents. An outside recreational area features a well manicured lawn and gardens with a patio area. The resulting impression of Stafford Hill is a warm and pleasing environment, a place for residents and guests to relax, socialize and feel at home. Completed 2008 |
