Sturbridge, MA Crescent Gate, a SPL Sturbridge Condominium project located in Sturbridge, MA, is a 55+ active adult community. It includes 57 one and two bedroom garden style condominiums in a Main Building, surrounded by 12 cottage units. This new campus boasts natural landscapes and several walking trails for the enjoyment of its residents, family members, friends and staff. The developers of this project approached the design of the Main Unit by incorporating features that are often found in free-standing clubhouses. They enhanced the community feel by including a lounge, living room with black granite fireplace, fully equipped country kitchen, exercise studio, library, billiards room and media room with theater style seating in this building. These amenities are open to all Crescent Gate residents. CURRIER & Associates worked with SPL to develop a concept rich in a sense of overall community, history and what Active Adults are looking for. In keeping with the flavor of historic Sturbridge, our design team accessorized with local artifacts, paintings and hand-painted furniture making residents feel at home. The end product has a historical and comfortable feel that is functional and in keeping with the maintenance free lifestyle of today’s active adults. It's enriching interior is inviting for gatherings with friends, new neighbors or for entertaining family members. This project was completed in September 2006 |
