Methuen Village at Riverwalk Park is located in the heart of Methuen’s central business district set back from Broadway overlooking the Spicket River. With attractive spacious apartments with full baths and kitchenettes, it provides service enriched assisted living as well as a secure residential neighborhood for those with Alzheimer’s disease. It is home to 97 residents, most of who come from the immediate community.

As the interior design firm on the team, CURRIER & Associates established an overall concept for the interiors of this community with a focus on the river view and the quiet, natural surroundings. The design included a warm and open dining room, sunroom, cozy den and fully equipped country kitchen featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a wonderful raised deck overlooking the river. The formal living & music room features a baby grand piano for resident and entertainment use. Other amenities include a private dining room, activities room, state of the art exercise room, library, card & game room, media room and beauty salon. An indoor garden center is available for planting and also has a great bird watching view.

The resident rooms and common areas at Methuen Village are configured to provide a spacious, enriching environment for residents and visitors alike. The projects furnishings and artwork highlight the rich history of Methuen’s turn of the century textile mills.

Methuen Village was developed by David P. Spada, Principal of DS Development LLC. Mr. Spada assembled a professional team with vast experience in the assisted living industry to design, construct and manage Methuen Village. DS Development collaborated with its team members with the goal of creating a senior living community and environment which fosters social interaction and promotes the overall health, well-being and independence of its senior residents.
