We are seeking an individual to join our team of nearly 20 people as the financial services manager. This person will play a key role is managing the financial activities of the company in supporting the company's overall ability to develop uplifting, functional environments that reflect the values of the client and the needs of the people who will live and work in them. Since l979, we have completed over 800 projects that include interior design, space planning, interior architecture, cost estimates, project coordination, purchasing and installation services for senior living, commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, institutional and residential clients.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Financial Services Manager
| Goal: |
To provide all clients, team members and outside resources with the accounting and financial documents, communications, information, payments and support required for the business to operate in a responsive, professional, efficient and profitable manner. |

| Objective: |
To develop and issue all financial documents in a timely and accurate fashion and in compliance with accepted accounting practices so the above goal and annual objectives are achieved.

| Scope: |
This position encompasses all full-charge bookkeeping and in-house accounting functions in support of all operations of the business. The majority of time will focus on the ensuring that the company captures, reviews and reports on the financial aspects of its operations. Duties include Human Resource activities and maintenance of related files, A/P and A/R processes, the preparation of all company financial reports, production of reports required to evaluate project performance, management of accounting personnel and accounting functions related to purchasing services. The person in this position serves on the company planning team. Travel is minimal. |

Major Responsibilities:
1. Maintain financial filing systems.
2. Record activities.
3. Process all financial documents and data.
4. Ensure accurate accounting for client and company purchases.
5. Develop financial data.
6. Issue financial information and reports.

9. Undertake special projects

Education – Possess a college degree in accounting, or in business or financial management with a major in accounting. |

Experience - Have six or more years experience in the bookkeeping/accounting/financial management function of an organization(s) with revenues of $2 million or more. |

Types of Experience – Have developed financial reports and executed all accounting activities for a multi-function business. |
