CURRIER & Associates Ranked in List of State’s Top 25 Interior Design Firms for 2008
Newburyport, Mass.—April 7, 2009—CURRIER & Associates, Inc., a full-service interior design firm specializing in creating enriching environments for living, healing and working, today announced it was ranked in the top 25 of the largest interior design firms in Massachusetts for the second consecutive year.
The listing, which appeared in the March 20-26 issue of The Boston Business Journal, ranked interior design firms according to their billings within Massachusetts last year. CURRIER’s billings for its Massachusetts projects of $1,080,000 resulted in this ranking.
The majority of CURRIER’s work last year was in the healthcare, senior living residences and multi-family housing markets. Examples of projects included the award winning Stafford Hill Assisted Living Residence in Plymouth, MA for The Northbridge Companies, numerous renovations for Benchmark Assisted Living of Wellesley, MA, which operates 43 senior living communities throughout New England, and ongoing project work for Emerson Hospital of Concord, Mass.
CURRIER, the only free-standing interior design firm on the list, ranked number 23. The competitors are architectural firms which offer interior design capabilities as part of their overall services. Their billings within Massachusetts ranged from $1.16 million to $12.5 million.
“As an independent interior design firm offering highly personalized and in-depth expertise, we are pleased to be supporting a variety of excellent companies by delivering enriching interior environments. It is a compliment to our team to be in the company of these prestigious architectural firms,” said Sharon Currier, President of CURRIER.
