CONTACT: CURRIER & Associates Adds Two Team Members Newburyport, Mass.—May 1, 2008—CURRIER & Associates, Inc., a full-service interior design firm specializing in creating enriching environments for living, healing and working, today announced the hiring of two new team members.
Mailhoit joined CURRIER as its financial services manager, bringing 21 years of experience in accounting to the company. Most recently, Mailhoit was accountant/human resource manager for The Industrial Companies of Essex, Mass. She held similar positions at TOV Group, LLC, and its parent company, Townsend Oil, both in Beverly Farms, Mass. Prior to that, she was an accountant for Carpenter and Company in Boston, and Sullivan & Drooks, CPA, in Danvers, Mass. Mailhoit joined CURRIER as its financial services manager, bringing 21 years of experience in accounting to the company. A graduate of Salem State with a B.S. in business administration and concentration in accounting, Mailhoit resides in Rowley with her two children. “Susan’s strong expertise in QuickBooks and comfort in dealing with numbers in all forms will greatly contribute to the detailed financial systems we have created to track the operations and growth of our company,” said Art Currier, CEO of CURRIER. “Her experience in supporting similar types of fast-track companies and interacting closely with a team will add value as well.”
Martin brings to CURRIER more than 18 years of experience in project management, customer service and administrative support. Most recently, she was the pre-release program manager for the customer service division of Sybase Inc., in Concord, Mass. She also has worked as an international liaison for the company’s global support operations and international customer service coordinator for its Powersoft Division. A graduate of Boston College, with a B.A. in communications, Martin lives in Newburyport with her husband and three children.
