| Currier & Associates Announces Staff Moves, New & Completed Projects
Currier & Associates, Inc. (CAI), a Newburyport-based full-service interior design firm specializing in the creation of enriching, optimal living and working environments, recently promoted Kathleen Vander Laan from Design Assistant to Designer and Janet Fournier from Financial Services Manager to Purchasing/ Financial Services Manager. Also, Emily Burgess, a Suffolk University Interior Design student from Georgetown, MA, is completing a semester-long internship with the firm. Recently completed projects for the healthcare industry include the development of Design Standards programs for North Adams (MA) Regional Hospital (including a multi-year renovation program), the design of the emergency room and Med-Surg floor of St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA, and Emerson Hospital’s Surgical Day Unit in Concord, MA. CAI also designed Emerson Hospital’s mammography and outpatient rehabilitation units, and north conference room. CAI designed new lobby and corridors for the Montvale Apartment buildings in Stoneham and provided design, purchasing and installation services for Club Houses and Model Units at Windsor Village in Waltham and Windsor at Brentwood in Rhode Island, the Converse Home Assisted Living Facility in South Burlington, VT, and Cedars (Assisted Living Residence) in Dartmouth, MA. Recently launched projects include the design of the Brickworks apartments in Cambridge, MA for The Dolben Company, the renovation of Meadowoods, a Wingate Company skilled nursing facility in East Hadley, MA as well as ten other Continental Wingate Company projects throughout MA and NY.
